We had a lovely hike last Monday and are doing it again! Why Monday? The weekend crowds are gone, parking is available, and I usually have gained a couple pounds I'd like to work off:)
This is what is included in our hike:
- the Mangrove boardwalk at the IRB Nature Preserve with beautiful trees and views of the intercoastal!
- a beach walk from 10th Ave. to 5th Ave. See the new renourishment!
- a walk over the Walsingham Bridge with beautiful views!
- the McGough Nature park with fun trails and a nature center with turtles!
We will then return to the IRB Nature Preserve where we could share a snack at the picnic table surrounded by tall mangroves, or get brunch somewhere if people are interested.
