Artisan Open House in North Kenwood!

Chat, socialize, and shop handcrafted art (even it's just window shopping) at our first Artisan Open House! This event will feature the works of three local artists: Lisa Melson, Beth McCarty and Sue Fenster (see more about each artist below). You can purchase a gift or something for your home, OR, if something inspires you, you can request a customized commissioned piece. We will have a variety of goods including: crocheted throws (seasonal and everyday), pillows, fun stuffed animals (for your favorite kid or the kid in you!), watercolors, cards, bookmarks, mosaics from glass and multimedia, trivets, and more!
This event is open to other groups, and you are welcome to bring guests. Please RSVP to give us an idea of how many to expect. There is free street parking.
Featuring art from:
Beth McCarty, a watercolor and mixed media artist who paints a variety of subjects, from botanicals to abstracts. She is currently working on a series in watercolor and collage that take inspiration from a recent safari in South Africa. She creates cards and bookmarks as well as standalone paintings of various sizes. She’ll be exhibiting all three at our event.
Lisa Melson: If you're looking for gift items, some home decor, or just a fun gift for yourself, please check out Crochet by Lisa! There will be a selection of throws available - some seasonal, some every day. I also have fun stuffies for your favorite child, or your inner child! I also take requests. If you have a pattern or are looking for something specific, let's talk!
Sue Fenster: Mosaic Mischief brings vibrant color, playful design, and a touch of whimsy to every handcrafted mosaic. Colorful. Creative. Unapologetically joyful mosaics made from glass, ceramics, stone, jewelry and other media. Sue can also create a custom Mosaic based on your specifications.
