Byrd Park Lakes. Meet Tyler Turpin at 11:00 am on the east side of the parking lot of Shields Lake, the southernmost of the three lakes at Byrd Park. The trip will focus on winter waterfowl and will run an hour to 1.5 hours. The parking lot is on Lake Road and accessed by taking Meadow Street to Amelia Street, then a left turn onto Lake Street. Access from roads off Arthur Ashe Boulevard is unpredictable.

RAS trips are open to all, RAS membership is encouraged but not required, and unless the trip says otherwise, you don't need to sign up. Please feel free to stay for as long as you want. Attendees do not need to stay the entire time listed.
