The Wetlands Beginners Birding and Baltik's Bagels
9:00 a.m.
Priscilla Erickson, RAS Field Trip Leader
Get to know the birds of Richmond and the Richmond Audubon Society with a beginner’s birding trip and Baltik's Bagels! This trip is primarily targeted at those who are new to RAS and/or new to birding. Meet at the entrance to The Wetlands section of the James River Park System (3395 Landria Dr.) at 9:00 am for bagels (while supplies last) and social time. We'll start birding around 9:30. Bring binoculars if you have access to them; some loaners may be available as well. Plan to walk ~1 mile on gravel trails. Email priscilla.erickson@richmondaudubon.org with questions.
RAS trips are open to all. RAS membership is encouraged but not required, and unless the trip specifies otherwise, you don't need to sign up. Please feel free to stay for as long as you want.
