The Wetlands Birding and Invasive Plant Removal
7:30 a.m.
Priscilla Erickson, RAS Field Trip Leader

Help us clean up one of our favorite local birding locations, The Wetlands, to make it better habitat for our local birds!

We will meet at 7:30 at the entrance to The Wetlands (3395 Landria Dr) for a short winter birding outing. Then from 9:00–12:00 we’ll volunteer with the James River Park System to do invasive plant removal. The volunteer portion is limited to 5 participants, so please email priscilla.erickson@richmondaudubon.org to reserve a spot. Volunteering is not required to participate in the birding outing, and those not volunteering are welcome to continue birding after 9:00.

RAS trips are open to all. RAS membership is encouraged but not required, and unless the trip specifies otherwise, you don't need to sign up. Please feel free to stay for as long as you want.
