About us
Bloom with The Florapist | Triangle Floral Design Experiences
I’m Darcie Garcia, AIFD, CFD, CEJ — floral designer, educator, and founder of The Florapist.
What began as floral design classes has evolved into curated creative experiences across Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and the surrounding Triangle area. Each of the classes are thoughtfully guided workshops rooted in professional floral technique, intentional design, and meaningful connection, all while being present with laughter and peace.
In each class, you’ll learn the mechanics, and techniques in the composition, movement, balance, color story, while creating a impressive arrangement you’re genuinely proud to take home.
I believe flowers do more than decorate a space — they steady the mind, soften the heart, and create room to breathe. These workshops are designed to offer that pause, that reset, that quiet confidence that comes from making something beautiful with your own hands.
For those seeking something more tailored, I also host private floral workshops and bespoke flower bar experiences at your location. Ideal for corporate events, community gatherings, schools, and curated celebrations.
If you value beauty, education, and healing in one space, you belong here!
Let’s bloom with intention.

Creating Memories Through Flowers & Cyanotype Art
Join The Florapist and botanical artist Ana Carolina for a creative experience that honors the stories, people, and moments that continue to shape us.
You will create a garden-inspired floral design and a personalized cyanotype print using botanicals and meaningful photographs.
Prior to class, participants will have the opportunity to email treasured images to Ana Carolina to incorporate into their artwork, creating a one-of-a-kind keepsake if you choose to use a picture. There will be botanical material provided if picture is not emailed.
We invite you to slow down, reflect, create, and connect through the healing power of art and flowers.
Whether you're honoring a loved one, celebrating a cherished memory, or simply exploring creativity in a meaningful way, you'll leave with two handmade pieces that tell your story.
