The Great React Revival!

I don't know why, but I keep thinking about the old tent revivals of yore where people gathered around in makeshift tents to get all jazzed up and feel the spirit. Well, that's how excited I am to revive this meetup during a great time for the React project and its ecosystem!

React Native is taking off and, in my opinion, is the leader of all the cross-platform UI frameworks you've been hearing about. Gatsby is taking the static site generator world by storm and making it really easy to create performant apps stitched together via the power of GraphQL and the "content mesh". The JAMstack ain't wack! And there's plenty more bleeding edge stuff within the React ecosystem to talk about for generations of meetups to come.

At this meetup, we'll get together and talk about what people want to see out of future gatherings. Thanks to those who have already reached out to help organize and sponsor this meetup, and I look forward to meeting you all in person!

...and why 6:09 PM start time you ask? Because that's the exact time of the first commit to React's...Naw, I just found it funny that Meetup allows you to be that granular with the time. Nothing more, nothing less.
