Join us for the third meeting of Nanaimo’s new monthly book club: Reader’s Choice Book Club! This January we are meeting at 6pm on Thursday January 29th at Firehouse Grill in downtown Nanaimo.
Want to talk about what you’re reading but don’t want to be told what to read? This is the book club for you!
If you attended one of our first two meetings, bring along your reading prompt list and what you’ve been reading. If this is your first time, bring your current or recent read to share with the group.
You can read any book that fits any prompt, whatever month you want. Then you can compare notes with bookish friends at our meetings! The idea is to have fun parameters to help you decide what to read next, but not to force you to read anything you don’t want to.
Appetizers to share will be provided by the library. If you’re able, buy a drink or some food to support Firehouse Grill for hosting us!
