True Dating hosts Reading’s most popular singles events, designed for people who want to meet face-to-face in a relaxed, well-organised setting. We create a safe, welcoming atmosphere where genuine connections can happen naturally.
After attending countless dating events ourselves, we realised there was room for something better, events that were fun, professionally hosted, reasonably priced, and genuinely enjoyable. So we built the kind of singles events we would actually want to attend, and we’ve been refining them ever since.
Unlike typical meetup groups, True Dating is a full-time professional events company. We operate a dedicated website and members’ area, allowing you to securely match and message anyone you meet at our events. Our customer support team is available 7 days a week to assist with any questions.
Our speed dating events and singles parties are tailored for men and women aged 25–55 in Reading and the wider Berkshire area.

As the name suggests, it’s a party just for single people—no awkward guesswork. Everyone attending is there for the same reason: to meet new people face-to-face, away from the apps and endless swiping.Here’s how it works:
The Event
Doors open at 7.30 PM. When you arrive, just ask for True Dating and you’ll be guided to our reserved area. We recommend arriving on time to get the most out of the evening. Our friendly hosts will be there to welcome you, make introductions, and ensure everyone feels comfortable.Who You’ll Meet
Every event brings together a fresh mix of people—all of whom have officially registered. No random drop-ins. This helps create a relaxed, respectful environment where you can genuinely connect. And yes, the odds of meeting someone you click with are much higher!After the Event
The following day, you’ll be able to login to your personal True Dating account. Here, you can select the people you’d like to see again. If there's a mutual match, you’ll be able to chat securely through our private messaging system.Important: You’ll need to log in and submit your matches before 4:00 PM the day after the event, as the system closes then.
