Trail: Michelle Obama Trail (We gather and park at the Recreation center)

Enjoy a breath of fresh air on the Michelle Obama Trail, a beautiful paved path in Decatur that honors the former First Lady’s commitment to healthy living. This scenic route meanders through lush greenery, connecting the Georgia State University Perimeter College campus to Gresham Park. You’ll wander through peaceful woods and over boardwalks that run parallel to the South River. It’s a wonderful spot to slow down, enjoy the sounds of flowing water, and take in the natural beauty of South DeKalb.
Arrival:
Once you arrive, please call to let us know you are in the parking lot at 678-576-0629.
We will wait for everyone to gather bikes, water, etcetera and get on their bikes during the first few minutes.

What to Expect:
-We will introduce ourselves :-) for the first few minutes and give others a few minutes to join the group.
-We will start riding at 09:50
- We will make stops along the way to allow those to take breaks and use restroom. If you are more of a rigorous biking/cycling person then wait until the next meetup. This one is more of a casual ride.
What to Bring (optional):

• Your Personal Bikes: Ensure they’re in good condition and suited to the ride type (road, MTB, gravel, etc.)
• Safety gear: Helmet, lights, reflective clothing, and proper brakes.
• Extras: Water bottles, snacks, spare tubes, pump, and a small repair kit.

Parking Address: 3123 klondike rd lithonia ga 30038 call me 678-576-0629 once you arrive

Arrival:
We will wait for everyone to gather their bikes, water, etcetera during the first few minutes.
Once you arrive, please call to let us know you are at the bicycle barn parking lot at 678-576-0629.

What to Expect:
-We will introduce ourselves :-) for the first few minutes and give others a few minutes to join the group.

-We will make stops along the way to allow those to take breaks and use restroom. If you are more of a rigorous biking/cycling person -then wait until the next meetup. This one is more of a or casual ride.
