What we’re about

The Real Estate Investor’s Social is a place to visit & get to know other investors better and share the perspectives & knowledge of people who are actively investing, partly for the fun of it and of course to meet others who may share some business or information that is relevant. We typically meet every other month. Dates & times vary. A visit to a modular & manufactured housing factory in Woodland on Thursday, June 13th is being planned. (I have a particular interest in adding value to properties and adding extra units is a great way to do that.)
The visit will include an opportunity to meet Chris Davis of Reliable Home Solutions who has decades of experience with factory built housing, including park models (which are on wheels but wider than tiny homes on wheels, up to 399 sq ft. ) as well as manufactured & modular housing. Chris put in two developments of housing in the Paradise area after the fire and has a wealth of knowledge about factory built housing, legal steps, installation, & costs.
Please let me know if you are interested in attending the factory tour in Woodland as I need a head count for the factory and can only take about 10 people at a time. First tour at 11:00 am is full; second tour about noon is open for people who register, please email me directly if you wish to attend. I hope to see you there!

If you like Tiny Homes on Wheels, Park Models ( on wheels but larger), modular or manufactured housing for the predictability, economy, efficiency, & green building practices, Here is an opportunity to learn how any of these could benefit you and your project or property. Park models are legal in Oakland, Santa Clara & Santa Cruz county and are faster to install than regular ADUs. Significant savings in time and money can be realized with factory built housing, all built to legal codes. Factory housing is getting prettier all the time. There are models for you to visit on site.
There will be a second tour after the Q & A meeting w/ my friend Chris Davis who runs Reliable Home Solutions. Chris has decades of experience with factory built housing and has put in two developments of housing in the Paradise area after the fire a few years ago and has a wealth of knowledge about factory built housing, legal steps, installation, & costs. Reliable Home Solutions has a special relationship w/ the factory we will be visiting in Woodland, which is just north of the city of Davis, which is west of Sacramento. Chris also has relationships with about a dozen factories and has access to a wide variety of inventory as needed.
We are limited to 10-12 people per tour; the 11:00 tour is booked and we are adding a second tour after the meeting w/ Chris Davis which will be about noon. When we have reached that number the event will only have a backup wait list.
