We offer an annual calendar of events, days out with a difference and great value short breaks, as well as ticket-only events. We include complimentary days out as part of our short breaks. If those days out involve visiting places of interest, we pass on group rates directly to you!
We welcome suggestions for new places to visit from our members too…if you’ve experienced a really great place, then tell us about it, we love to plan visits to new places and share with our members.
We can only confirm our excursions subject to reaching the minimum number of people booking, so please help spread the word and we hope to see you for some REAL Socialising soon!

A Royal Day Out!

Join our visit for a ‘Royal Day Out’ which includes entry to all three venues, Buckingham Palace State Rooms, The Royal Mews and the new Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style exhibition at The Kings Gallery.
The King’s Gallery: Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style. Featuring approximately 200 items, many on display for the first time, this is the largest and most comprehensive exhibition of the late Queen’s fashion ever mounted. Alongside clothing, jewellery, hats, shoes and accessories, explore never-before-seen design sketches, fabric samples and handwritten correspondence. Highlights include her bridesmaid dress, wedding dress, Coronation dress and the ensemble worn for the wedding of Princess Margaret.
The Royal Mews; one of the finest working stables in existence and responsible for all road travel arrangements for The King and members of the Royal Family. You will see historic coaches and carriages, including the Gold State Coach, which has been used at every coronation since that of George IV in 1821.
he State Rooms; Your Royal Day Out ends with a tour through the magnificent State Rooms in Buckingham Palace which are used by The King for ceremonial occasions and official entertaining. Each room is furnished with many of the treasures from the Royal Collection, including paintings by Rembrandt and Rubens; sculpture by Canova; and some of the finest English and French furniture in the world.
With around 4-5 hours at the Palace, your day ends with a walk through the Royal garden, with splendid views of the Palace and the famous lake!

Join us during the 40th Anniversary year of Phantom of the Opera.
Phantom began previews in London on 27 September 1986. The show boasts memorable music alongside stunning set design,
costumes, and special effects. A truly romantic tragedy, this beautiful story is set against one of the West End’s most memorable scores that includes hit songs such as “The Music of the Night”, “All I Ask of You”, “Think of Me”, and of course, “The Phantom of the Opera”The haunting The Phantom of the Opera musical story is adapted from Gaston Leroux’s novel of the same name and is set in the heart of the Paris Opera House. As young ballet dancer Christine Daae becomes the object of The Phantom’s secret affection, he manipulates her career at the expense and horror of the Opera House staff and stars.
Please note: This production contains scenes that some people may find distressing and includes the use of: gunshots, flashing lighting effects, theatrical smoke effects, and pyrotechnics.

There is so much to see and do in Rouen. Visit the historic Notre Dame Cathedral and the fabulous 20th century Church of St Joan of Arc. Timetable awaited for Rouen Cathedral illuminations.
Our hotel is the modern 3-star Aparthotel Adagio Access Rouen Centre Cathédrale is ideally positioned on the historic site of the former Palais des Consuls in the heart of Rouen. Housed in buildings with preserved walls that have been completely rebuilt with new interiors. Each apartment comes with Wi-Fi and is designed to provide comfortable self-catering accommodation, but no cooking required with an incredible range of eateries on your doorstep!
Our final day will visit the magical house and gardens at Giverny created by Claude Monet….walk over the famous Japanese style bridge and soak in the wonderful images made famous by so many of Monet’s paintings

Brick Lane invites you to a right Royal knees up with this Cockney theme music hall show and top-notch afternoon tea.
Before the era of television, a Saturday night for any self-respecting Cockney was the night to find an ‘old Joanna’ to gather around for a good old ‘ding-dong’. Whole families would come together for a high spirited sing-song, belting out all the much loved songs. At Brick Lane Music Hall, our Cockney Sing-Song is a lively show packed full of Cockney humour and the music and songs passed down through the generations…..now you can join in too!
Brick Lane is the only permanent home for music hall, in a totally unique venue.
