REAL Socialising is one of the friendliest travel clubs you will find in South-East Kent.
We pride ourselves on making sure you have a memorable experience for all the right reasons when you travel with us….Join our Facebook page and read some of the great comments!
We offer an annual calendar of events, days out with a difference and great value short breaks, as well as ticket-only events. We include complimentary days out as part of our short breaks. If those days out involve visiting places of interest, we pass on group rates directly to you!
We welcome suggestions for new places to visit from our members too…if you’ve experienced a really great place, then tell us about it, we love to plan visits to new places and share with our members.
We can only confirm our excursions subject to reaching the minimum number of people booking, so please help spread the word and we hope to see you for some REAL Socialising soon!

A great optional extra is a 90 min cruise from the heart of Camden on the beautiful ‘Jenny Wren’ Canal boat….sit back and relax as you watch the world go by travelling through the famous Camden Lock, before sailing through London Zoo and Regent’s Park, with a short canal tunnel to Robert Browning’s Island at Little Venice, returning to Camden; accompanied by an interesting commentary from Jenny’s crew!

## Join us for our 5-day visit to Scarborough with days out to York and Whitby
This 5 day break includes half board accommodation in Scarborough and offers 2 optional days out at great value. These include a visit to York where you can spend a ‘do as you please day’; perhaps visit York’s Railway Museum, Minster, and Castle. Or visit the Jorvik Experience; alongside time to explore the historic streets and famous ‘Shambles’.
We’ve also arranged a day visit to historic Whitby famous for its fish and chips and Dracula!…..perhaps you might like to take a walk up the 199 steps to reach Whitby Abbey. Its haunting image provides the perfect backdrop to Bram Stoker’s Dracula novel! ….we are just waiting on confirmation that its also Goth Weekend…..!

Highclere Castle, home of Downton Abbey – 1-5-26
Location not specified yet### We’ve been fortunate to be given just one date this year so book soon to avoid disappointment…check your diary for 1st May and join our visit to the setting for Downton Abbey with the majestic Highclere Castle
Highclere is the family seat of the Carnarvon Family, the same Lord Carnarvon, who with Howard Carter, discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun in 1922.
As well as touring the house and gardens, you can view the Egyptian Exhibition with artefacts from those times.
