What to Expect:

  • A structured small group discussion event. Each group is given a guide, and around 12 random questions to facilitate discussion. Intended to take the guess-work out of talking about the hard stuff.
  • To be welcomed at the door
  • 15-30 minute presentation on what the event, group, and host is all about
  • Roughly 2 hours of discussion with 4-7 other individuals with breaks included
  • Freedom to come and go as you please, to pass, and to choose to observe only

When does it start:

  • Mingling starts at 4pm, brief presentation is at 4:30, and discussion starts right after!

Who is this:

  • This event is hosted by a group that goes by "Sacramento Polyamory/CNM." Your in person host is Sarah.

How much is this:

  • Always free. You will be invited to donate, never expected to.
  • There is a cost to the host, as it is a private rented space. If you can help me keep this event going, $5/person can go a far way to making that happen. If you can give more to cover those who can't, we all thank you!!

How does this relate to Reason?

  • We approach monogamy with skepticism and openness, and seek alternatives to the established path.
  • We absolutely believe in keeping government and the church outside of the bedroom.
  • Atheism and Freethinking holds a large population within the CNM community.
