๐ฟ Film and Discussion Night at Reason Center
Details
Film and Discussion Night is co-sponsored by Reason Center and Atheists and Other Freethinkers.
Movie nights are in person at our new Reason Center in Sacramento. We are at 1300 Ethan Way, Suite 675-B in the back corner of the building. We provide the popcorn, feel free to bring your own snacks as well. It may be a good idea to bring a lawn chair if you have one, just in case. The event is posted on other sites as well, so there may be more attendees than are listed on this group's page.
The actual movie is a secret, because of our MPLC License (https://www.mplc.org/page/the-umbrella-license) and the stodgy rule of law -- but we can slip you a hint. We also encourage a post-film discussion, which makes this educational, sort of.
When a recently divorced mother and her two teenage boys move to a coastal town to stay with her father, it doesn't take long for the brothers to realize the area is a haven for something much more sinister than party-going surfers. A 1987 classic with a little tongue-in-cheek horror,
There is no fee to attend, but we do appreciate your donations to Reason Center.
Mark your calendar! We want to see you!
