Chanting in the Turning of the Year

• Welcome and introductions and opening meditation.
• After the meditation, we move around the circle, giving everyone the chance to dedicate the chant and set a personal intention. These prayers are then carried forth with a rolling AUM.
• Each chant is followed by a few minutes of silence, allowing space for the sound to settle and integrate.
• We close with a final meditation.

The practice we share includes Sanskrit mantras, rainbow songs, shamanic chants, and voicework.

Mantras are timeless Sanskrit words, repeated in chanting as a form of meditation. The vibrational quality of these sound currents attunes mind and body to the soul’s frequency, leaving one feeling refreshed, cleansed, and renewed.

The sacred words carry the power of the mantra. When chanted—individually or, most powerfully, in community—they support spiritual growth, open the heart, and bring healing to both the physical and energetic bodies.

The Autumn Equinox, also known as Mabon, marks a celebration of the final harvest. It is a time of abundance, gratitude, and reflection—a moment to give thanks for blessings received and to honour the fruits of our efforts, both literal and symbolic.

This turning of the wheel also ushers in Libra season. The equinox itself is a point of balance between day and night, and Libra, represented by the scales, reminds us of harmony, justice, and peace.

As the sun moves through this season, we are invited to reflect on our own equilibrium—acknowledging both light and shadow, and aligning ourselves with balance on our inner and outer paths.
