What we’re about
This book club is for adults of all ages who enjoy reading fiction written in the last few decades that's serious but not entirely, a cup of drama with spoonful of comedy.
To start the club, the organizer has preselected a number of books, copies of which are available at public libraries in the Madison area, but recommendations and suggestions from club members are strongly encouraged. Discovery is one of the primary goals.
Attendance is free: the organizer will pay for meeting room rental and any other costs. Meetings are held at 2pm Sunday in the Monona Public Library board room, 1st floor, accessible.
The plan is just to read the book before each meeting and have an informal, open-ended discussion of it, with no set agenda or questions. We'll strive to give every attendee the opportunity to talk.
