Mastering the Art of Active Listening (1 of 2)

Come learn how to harness the power of active listening to better understand and influence people!

As a certified peer recovery specialist, I will be leading a 45 minute interactive presentation on active listening, illustrating the core concepts of active listening and teaching you how to use active listening to maximize your interactions with people. I will go through a PowerPoint as well as share audio clips during the presentation. There will be a 15 min Q&A at the end.

Free coffee and water will be provided.

This workshop is designed for peer recovery specialists, therapists, and anyone else wanting to strengthen their listening skills.

Please note: This is part one of the workshop. The other part is 2 hour role-play work shop scheduled the following Saturday where members will have a chance to try out what they learned in various role play exercises. That workshop is included with the cost of this one, but must be signed up for separately. To sign up for it, click here.

Members attending both parts of the workshop will receive a certification of completion.
