Venus stationed retrograde in Scorpio on Saturday, October 3rd. It will remain in retrograde motion until it stations direct in Libra on November 14th.

Venus retrogrades, their effects in transit, and their effects on the birth chart will be the starting topics for today. This will be our starting point, but we will go wherever the conversation takes us.

In today’s meetup we’ll be talking about annual protections, a simple but powerful timing technique.

With protections, each year is allotted a house and sign in the chart, starting with the 1st house, and the ruler of that house is the lord of the year. This continues until the 12th house is allotted, and then repeats with the first house at ages 12, 24, 36, and so on. This will all be explained in greater depth at the meetup.

Annual protections, their interpretation, and example charts will be discussed at today’s meetup. This will be our starting point, but we will go wherever the conversation takes us.
