What we’re about
The Redmond Watershed Preserve is a beautiful 800-acre wooded nature area with beautiful paths and old trees. It's near the Redmond Ridge community, only a few minutes from Redmond.
Each Saturday we will walk one of several potential walks. Each is between 1.8 and 2.4 miles. There are a few ups and downs, but elevation change is minor at about +/- 100 feet.
We walk at a medium pace, not in a rush, so the walks usually take 60 to 75 minutes, depending on your pace. Sometimes the group sticks together and sometimes smaller groups break off, which is fine. Go at your own pace.
We meet on Saturday mornings at 9 am, rain or shine, excepting snow, ice, and torrential downpours. We meet at the southern entrance, at 21760 Novelty Hill Road, near the restrooms.
Note that pets aren't allowed in the Redmond Watershed Preserve.
