Redondo's Cleverly Named Writing Group
Overview
Boost your writing in a supportive, all-ages group, at your own pace, share progress, and gain practical tips in a focused, motivating vibe.
Details
Hello,
The group continues to grow and is open to all ages. Everyone works at their own level. Bring a pen and paper or your laptop. The library offers computer access if you don't have one. The structure is similar to a fitness gym. We show up and get inspired by others punching keyboard keys or dragging pencils/pens across their notepad.
We'll meet at the big windows facing the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Carnelian St. The library's helpful staff will direct you from the Information Booth.
9:00 am: we meet.
12:00 pm: we depart.
Individuals take periodic breaks to stretch. Showing up on time is not important—showing up is.
Afterward, we quietly discuss progress, goals and writer resources.
Pro Tips:
1. There are 5 core group members who always show up, but never hit the "Attend Event" Button. There will be more writers than shown below.
2. Bring something soft to sit on. The library's chairs are hardwood.
3. If you're working on a laptop, show up fully charged. Plugs are not easily accessible where we meet.
4. Parking is free and located directly below the library.
See you all soon,
Bryan
