About us
Let's get-together for cycling excursions around Redwood Shores. Standard meet-up at Public Parking Lot near Oracle every Saturday and Sunday, generally at 9am for Group Riding. Fluid route(s) can accommodate a variety of skill levels and distances. Plus there are a few planned leisurely excursions throughout the cycling season. In training? Buddy up!

The Eighth Annual (Octennial) Civilized Century - Sunday, August 2nd, 2026
Our group's signature local event held the first Sunday in August. Great for first-time Century Riders; seasoned veterans looking for a scenic, day-off from climbing; or Recumbent and ElliptiGo bikes.
Route options: 35, 60, 75, and 100miles.
$35-youth/$70-adult/includes BBQ mini-meal.
Register at Civilized Century . This event is limited to 300 riders and sells out each year so register early!

It's Beer O'Clock Somewhere - Off-Road/Gravel Ride
Oracle Parking/Restroom/Bridge, Public Park Parking Lot Near Oracle, Public Restroom Near Oracle, Redwood City, ca, USSeptennial Civilized Century Photos - Registration is Open!
Off-Road and Gravel Riding 40mile RT route to Dumbarton Visitor Center (DVC). Best to have all-weather or gravel tires. If you are on slicks, will need to turnaround on Shoreline Trail and meet us at DVC. Not to be confused with mountain biking but a mountain bike is most welcome.
ROUTE: Off-Road Gravel Group Ride · Ride with GPS
First section (outbound) - Bedwell Park. Hard packed dirt w/ruts. Gravel trails optional.
Second section (outbound) - Shoreline Trail is hard packed dirt w/ruts then becomes gravel terminating at DVC.
Third section (inbound) - a loop of hard packed dirt w/ruts on the west side of Dumbarton Bridge.
Bring Snacks and water. Will swing by Freewheel Brewery inbound for lunch and a pint.
WE ROLL OUT AT 9AM.
EQUIPMENT: Go light! Helmet, eye protection, spare tube, water bottle(s), phone, snack, moolah, and sunscreen.
