The best way to know how to help hummingbirds is by doing research and keeping a close eye on their health. Susan Campbell will be trapping, measuring, and tagging hummingbirds at Reedy Creek and you can witness her work up close. Adult participation required if under the age of 18.

Get outside, get moving, get healthy! Fresh air, sunshine, beautiful surroundings and wonderful people are included! This is a medium to fast walk of 2.5 to 3 miles over an hour+ on uneven terrain. Adult participation required if under 18. Meet at the Reedy Creek Nature Center.

- BioDiversity Trip: Camping and Hiking Oconee State ParkNeeds location

This BioDiversity Trip will take us to the foothills of South Carolina! Our adventure includes hiking, swimming, waterfalls and sleeping under the stars. We will be camping at Oconee State Park and exploring the park and the surrounding area. This will be a two night camping trip and we will hike between 4 - 6 miles per day, stopping along the way to discover what makes this land so special. Transportation (from Reedy Creek Nature Center), camping equipment/fees, all meals (except lunch Friday) and guides are included. Adult participation required if under 18.
