This month's biodiversity hike will be full of wonderment! Forty Acre Rock Heritage Preserve encompasses 2,965 acres of the most diverse protected area in the Piedmont region, including granitic flatrocks, waterslides, waterfalls, beaver pond, caves, hardwood and pine forests, and a variety of wildflowers and wildlife. Adult participation required if under 18.

Through proven mindful techniques, such as sensory engagement, meditation walks and sit spots, we will slow down and open up to the healing power of the more than human world. No experience needed. Led by a certified Mindful Outdoor Guide. Adult participation required if under 18.

Get outside, get moving, get healthy! Fresh air, sunshine, beautiful surroundings and wonderful people are included! This is a medium to fast walk of 2.5 to 3 miles over an hour+ on uneven terrain. Adult participation required if under 18. Meet at the Reedy Creek Nature Center.
