Reedy Creek Hiking, Exploration, & Wellness

We all need a reset from time to time and nature invites us to do just that. During our 3 - hours together we will play, pause and ponder through a mindful journey on the land. Celebrate summer by allowing yourself to be nurtured by nature through a variety of activities, including but not limited to, sensory engagement, play, meditation walking and sit spots, journaling prompts, art, etc... No experience needed. Led by a certified Mindful Outdoor Guide. Adult participation required if under 18. A small journal and light snacks are included.

Celebrate National Moth Week by investigating the world of Moths during this special after hours program. Staff will be putting up Moth sheets as the sun goes down and we will welcome in these often-overlooked creatures. Spend your time discovering their natural history as we walk back and forth between the sheets to see what the light brings in. Meet in the parking lot at 18232 Shearer Rd, Davidson, NC 28036 - West Branch Nature Preserve.

Celebrate National Moth Week by painting this stunning green moth. Explore introductory watercolor techniques and follow the steps to create a watercolor painting. All supplies needed will be provided. No previous experience required. Adult participation required if under 18.
