Early spring is a lovely time to visit the magical land of the Sandhills. This area is said to be one of the Southeast's premier sites for viewing this special long leaf pine/wiregrass ecosystem. We will travel along the wildlife drive with stops along the way for short hikes to admire and discuss what we are seeing. We will hike between 5 - 7 miles on uneven terrain. Adult participation required if under 18.
