Pilgrim's Progress

Getting restarted after a long hiatus!

John Bunyan's "Pilgrim's Progress" is one of those books we've all heard of, but many have never read. It's been a favorite of mine for decades. I'm going to start a reading series with my giving some background info on the author/particular portion and then group discussion.

I'll start with some background info on John Bunyan and the contexts that shaped his "Progress"

As a teaser, Derek Thomas states "Pilgrim's Progress is one of the landmarks of Puritanism and Puritan theology. We read the Progress in order to learn how to be pilgrims, how to live, and how to die with assurance and confidence in our Lord"
