Blackberry Obliteration at West Creek Wetlands

Details
We are digging up blackberries in West Creek Wetlands Park Reserve every other Tuesday and would love the help! This project is on year 9 of removing blackberries from this reserve that isn't accessible to the public and we are making great strides.
The site can be wet, we suggest boots! We will bring shovels, clippers and gloves but if you have your own you prefer, please bring them.
Please contact stewardship@leps.bc.ca for info or to register. We cancel in snow and strong winds. It is too hard to find the blackberries under the snow and we are working under a lot of older alder and cottonwood so wind can be a safety issue. If you don't register, we can't let you know if the event is cancelled.
