THOSE WHO HAVE RSVP'D 'YES' WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL FROM ME ON THE DAY OF THE CALL PROVIDING THE INFORMATION TO ENABLE YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE CALL VIA ZOOM. (TO USE ZOOM, YOU WILL HAVE THE OPTION OF CLICKING A WEB LINK - WITH OR WITHOUT YOUR CAMERA ON - OR CALLING INTO ONE OF THE TELEPHONE NUMBERS PROVIDED.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT ME AT kevin@kevinblisscoaching.com or by cell/text at 202-607-1174.

ADDITIONAL GRIEF SUPPORT MONTHLY MEETING OPPORTUNITY: Should you be interested in participating in a second Grief Support Group each month for the duration of the Social Isolation of the COVID19 Pandemic and while the meetings are on Zoom rather than in person, I invite you to join a second Grief Support Meetup Group - affording you the opportunity to meet with others who are grieving twice per month instead of just once per month. It is a group that generally meets in Washington DC on the first Monday of every month, although dates could change. To be apprised of the meetings of that group, please feel free to search for and join the following Meetup Group: "Monthly Grief Support Group by Kevin Bliss in SW DC". You will then receive reminders of the meetings of that group, with the ability to participate in those meetings by RSVPing "Yes" to any particular Meetup Meeting. Those who've RSVP'd "Yes" will relieve a Zoom invitation on the day of the meeting. Should you have any questions, please contact me as set forth above in the previous paragraph.

The purpose of these 1-hour sessions is to provide a safe and healing place for those struggling with grief. There is a notion that people should be able ‘just get over’ their grief, when the reality is that grief is a complicated process for most everyone and the only path forward is going through it.

Among other things, the group offers people who are grieving the opportunity to be with others who are also are on the grief journey. It means you are likely to meet people who are genuinely understanding and sympathetic. You are fellow travelers on the same road.

Kevin J. Bliss is the leader of the group, trained and certified as an End-of-Life Coach by Coaching at the End of Life. Coaching is an ideal methodology for working with those who are grieving as it is designed to meet people exactly where they are their journey and to assist them in finding their own path forward.

To be a "group," a minimum of 2 people in addition to the organizers is necessary for the meeting to take place. If less than 2 people have signed up by five pm the day before the event, the meeting will be cancelled. If less than 2 actually show up, the event will be abbreviated and the group will be more social, not a formal Grief Support Group event.
