About us

The practice of Relatefulness is an incredibly powerful, new, and fast growing practice that raises the bar for what is possible in relationship, personal growth and self-realization. You will be surprised at its richness, depth and simplicity.
This is an opportunity to wake up to whole new relational spaces and to touch into parts of yourself that bring deep nourishment and inspiration.

If Authentic Relating and Non-Violent Communication offer excellent tools to carry in your relational tool belt, Relatefulness can help build the muscle of consciousness in connection that allows you the freedom to reach for those tools in the moment with sovereignty and choice.
We offer a space to practice being human together.

What Actually Happens?
While we might start with warm-up exercises in rotating pairs—–including instruction on how to notice bodily sensations, emotions, thoughts, and inquire deeper into the experience of others–– much of the direction and guidance happens in real time, during the circles.
In a Relateful Focus Circle, the attention of a group is skillfully focused on an individual. This person gets to feel the impact of being supportively seen by others while also experiencing their honest in-the-moment feelings. The process revolves around connection, understanding, and a deep authenticity between people. In the advanced Flow Circles, our individual and collective attention is free to flow naturally throughout the group, providing us an opportunity to practice noticing where and how our attention moves and lingers and what it is like to exist in connection with other living, breathing, nervous systems.
Our facilitators are leading but also humans actively in the practice with you. We believe this is more deeply aligned with the principles of authenticity and connection; it also allows us to participate with more presence and vulnerability, leading by example in each moment.

Dyads & Focus Circles Practice Session
The Grove, 6333 W 3rd St E-11, Los Angeles, CA 90036, Los Angeles, CA, USWhat is Relatefulness?
Relatefulness is the practice of discovering and training mindful ways of relating with others. The practice is done with others in pairs, small groups, and large groups. We come into direct contact with the dynamics that underlie relationships and use this rich interpersonal space to glean relational blind spots, freedom, and healing. Often by dropping our views and slipping deeper into the immediate experience, a doorway to a world beyond words opens, offering a taste of transcendence.Relatefulness is also a wonderful way to integrate and bring our mindfulness practice off the cushion and into everyday relationships. Rather than falling back into small talk or habitual ways of relating, we can identify, name, and explore what's present right here in connection. The more we practice in circles, the more we learn how to bring this same level of presence and connection to all of our daily relationships – such as our friends, family, partners, and clients.
