We casually banter about sometimes controversial philosophical concepts. You are encouraged to submit your own rants, disagreements, arguments, etc!
Some good things to know about the group :
1 : You are free and encouraged to email us topics at : philosophyrenegade@gmail.com
2 : We don't believe in waitlists. However many people show up, we'll figure it out.
3 : Moderation is done only lightly. The iron fist must be covered in a velvet glove.
4 : Passionate opinions need to be encouraged.
5 : Topic selection is not a democratic process. However, essentially no topic is forbidden from its proper time and place.
6 : Quality over quantity.
7 : Tacos.

Two Hands Solved My Anxiety
The Commons, 550 Laguna St, San Francisco, CA, USI'm really looking forward to this even with y'all. We will discuss the "Two Hands" argument made by G.E. Moore as it applies to romantic attachment styles. There are some compelling parallels between existential skepticism and anxiety, which is worth exploring.
As always, please read the following before the event.

There is another philosophy group in San Francisco hosted by Rodrigo. He likes the two hands argument so much, that he calls his group Two Hands Philosophy! Feel free to check it out.
