November 9th is CARL SAGAN DAY.

For those who are unfamiliar, Carl Sagan was this really awesome astronomer who wrote profoundly poetically. He had a TV show called "Cosmos" which to this day, in my opinion, is the greatest TV science documentary ever made. It received *cosmic* cultural as well as critical acclaim. However, Cosmos is not merely a scientific documentary. Cosmos is more importantly; a profoundly philosophical, poetic, and spiritual work. There is a reason it was so wildly successful.

\*\*\*RADICAL RE-IMAGINING OF EVENT : \*\*\*

The logistics of driving have proved too difficult to handle given time constraints. I have decided to change the event. This will instead be a viewing party of cosmos at The Commons. The bit will be : Take a drink every time you hear "illions"!
