At Asian Professionals Meetup, we’re all about treating each other with respect and kindness. It doesn’t matter who you are—your race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or anything else—everyone deserves to be treated with dignity. So, let’s keep discrimination out of the picture, okay?
We’re also serious about keeping things harassment-free. Whether it’s words, actions, or anything in between, if it makes someone uncomfortable, it’s not okay. Jokes, comments, or unwanted advances that cross the line aren’t welcome here. And remember, physical contact should always be mutual—no exceptions.
We’re here to create a space where everyone can feel comfortable, have fun, and make new friends. If something’s bothering you or doesn’t feel right, don’t hesitate to speak up. Rock Reno Half Marathon Relay & 5K
Greater Nevada Field, 250 Evans Avenue, Reno, NV, USRock Reno Half Marathon & 5K is Reno’s most unique running experience — and the city’s only point-to-point half marathon. Start in South Reno at the Swift Sportsdome and run your way through east Reno streets, bike paths, and parks while you follow the Truckee River - finishing in style at Greater Nevada Field, home of the Reno Aces! There’s nothing like crossing the finish line outside the ballpark with the energy of downtown Reno around you.
Not quite ready for the half marathon? Grab a teammate and take on the 2-person relay, or join us for the 5K run/walk, which starts and finishes at Greater Nevada Field — perfect for runners and walkers of all levels who want to be part of race day excitement.
The course features 6 aid stations, all complete with water and electrolytes. We'll provide some nutrition at the midpoint at well! The midpoint doubles as the exchange point for Relay Runners, where you can park and meet your teammate.
To make race morning smooth, we provide a runner shuttle from the finish to the start for half marathon participants. (Please note: there is no return shuttle if you choose to drive yourself to the start.) The half marathon and relay begin at 8:00 AM with a 3 hour 30 minute course cutoff (11:30 AM/16:02 per mile pace). The 5K kicks off at 8:15 AM.

Dirty Wookie 10K and 5K
Reno Running Company, 3438 Lakeside Dr, Reno, NV 89509, USA, Reno, NV, USThe Dirty Wookie 10K & 5K is a one-of-kind Halloween themed running event taking place in Downtown Reno featuring two unique courses and distances. Come in costume, if you'd like, and join a few thousand other runners/walkers for an unforgettable running experience through the city.
The 10K course (new to 2026!) is Reno's only point-to-point 10K. Starting at Reno Running Company – LAKESIDE the course winds through Virginia Lake, beautiful West Reno neighborhoods, Idlewild Park, and finishes at J Resort’s Festival Grounds in downtown Reno. Runners are encouraged to park at the J Resort, and purchase a shuttle ticket ($10) to be transported to the start. NO shuttle service is provided back to the 10K start line after the race, so if you choose to drive yourself, please plan accordingly. Walkers are welcome to register for the 10K but please be aware of the 2 hour cut off for the course (19:21/mile pace).
The 5K starts and finishes at J Resort’s Festival Grounds, and features a scenic out-and-back loop through the colorful paths of Idlewild Park. Walkers are very welcome and encouraged to join!
Both the 10K and 5K will begin at 9:00 AM.Costume Contest! Around 10:30 AM, make sure you're near the podiums for the official Dirty Wookie costume contest! We will parade the eligible participants, then ask the crowd to vote for the favorite for a grand prize. Who will get the loudest cheer?! All ages are welcome, and you must be a registered 2026 Dirty Wookie runner to participate.
Both 10K and 5K courses are professionally marked, timed and supported to provide the world-class race experience Reno Running Company is known for. Make sure you stick around at the end to enjoy the Finish Line Festival to celebrate your run and kick off Halloween week in style. Whether you're competing for a top spot, walking, or just out to have fun, the Dirty Wookie is a Halloween tradition you can't miss!
