Emerald Bay Boat Camp - Google Maps

I was able to get a last-minute reservation at one of my favorite Tahoe campgrounds. Despite the name as a boat-in campground, there's a well-paved (and not too long) path that you can backpack in.
The campground is on the path of the Rubicon trail and a fairly easy paddle to Fanette Island so plenty of opportunities to explore. We can meet at Wingfield Park to carpool or you're welcomed to meet us at the campground. There is street parking along the trailhead.

If you wanted to come via boat/kayak/SUP, Lester Beach and Baldwin beach are the two popular starting points: Emerald Bay Boat-In Campground – NorCal Hiker

Once you RSVP, I'll reach out with information for the fee and to confirm your space. If you're planning to bring a guest, please have them register separately, as there is an occupancy limit for the campsite.
