Advance planning--14th Annual Rib Cookoff adventure--Base Camp!

Nothing spells Reno-Sparks like the annual Nugget Rib Cookoff!! This event goes from 8/27-9/1. We're going on Saturday 8/30, (but last few years, I've gone many of the 6 nites, lol).

Veteran Ribfesters have their faves and enjoy checking out new cookers too, and this is the 13th year we've posted it.

We'll meet starting between 5-9pm (come whenever you wish!!) on the west patio outside Great Basin Brewing Company, known for their great beers etc, and keep it as a return-to basecamp.

Then we are on our own, as there's tons to see, shop and eat, at each person's choice. Most years several groups of people hang together, but feel free to come and go--and eat, yum--at your own pace.

There'll be a good performer on the Main stage nearby, always is; a good local band on the Plaza stage, and even a small band right where we meet, starting later...Tonight's Main show is Credence Revisited @8.

So, Great Basin patio is our "home base-camp" for meeting back up when desired, on and off...:-)
