New Friends & Adventures for Women 40+

Welcome to a community for women 40+ who want to get out, try new things, and make real friendships.

This group is all about enjoying life, staying active, and connecting with other amazing women in a relaxed and supportive environment. Whether you're new to the area, looking to expand your social circle, or simply want more fun things to do with great people, you're in the right place.

We'll plan a variety of activities such as:
• Scenic walks and local hikes
• Paddleboarding and outdoor adventures
• Casual dinners and brunch meetups
• Coffee chats and happy hours
• Game nights and social gatherings
• Exploring local events and new places

You don't have to be super athletic or adventurous—just open to getting out, meeting new people, and having fun.

Our goal is to create a friendly, welcoming space where women can build genuine friendships, support each other, and enjoy this stage of life together.

Stroll Downtown Carson City and enjoy wine poured from participating businesses while experiencing everything Downtown offers.
THE CARSON CITY WINE WALK
Tickets are available ONLINE ONLY.
Check in will be at the Brewery Arts Center from 1PM to 3PM only. If you arrive after 3PM, you will not be able to redeem your ticket and collect your bracelet and glass.
THEME
Punk Rock Revival! Get out your safety pins and eyelinerl! We'll have temporary punk tattoos for everyone.
PRICES
Prices are $25 if you need an official Carson City Wine Walk Glass.
Prices are $20 if you already have an official Carson City Wine Walk glass to use. Glasses that are not OFFICIAL Carson City Wine Walk glasses will not be allowed.
Participants must be 21 years or older. ID's will be required at check in.

Kings Canyon Waterfall Loop Hike – Scenic 2-Mile Adventure! 🌿💦

Join us for a beautiful hike through one of Carson City’s most stunning open space trails! This scenic loop leads to a gorgeous waterfall and offers incredible valley views along the way.
Hike Details:
• Distance: 2 miles loop
• Elevation Gain: 472 ft
• Estimated Time: 1–1.5 hours
• Difficulty: Moderate
What to Expect:
This is an outstanding trail with rocky sections, some steep drop-offs, and minimal shade—so be prepared for a little adventure and plenty of sunshine!
Please Bring:
• Water / hydration
• Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
• Sturdy hiking shoes
Important:
Dogs are NOT allowed on the southern half of the trail in order to protect Carson City’s drinking water.
Parking:
Available at the end of Kings Canyon Road.

Keep an eye out for birds, water views, and all the little moments that make this spot so special!

We’ll follow a peaceful route with a mix of open views and shaded stretches, making it perfect for a relaxed but energizing walk. Expect gentle elevation changes, fresh air, and plenty of time to chat and take in the surroundings.
