See all- Digital Twins for Personalised Stroke Prevention: From Data to DecisionsLiverpool, Liverpool
Every year, millions of people suffer from strokes linked to heart rhythm problems like atrial fibrillation. But what if we could predict who is most at risk—and why—using their own health data? In this short talk, I’ll introduce the idea of “digital twins”: virtual versions of individual patients built from real-world hospital data. These digital models help us understand risk, tailor treatments, and potentially prevent strokes before they happen. We’ll also explore how AI can uncover hidden patterns and causes in complex medical data.
