See all- Power of Perspective: Pioneering Trauma-Informed Leadership and Workplaces.Manchester Marriott Hotel Piccadilly, 91 London Road, , M1 2PG, MANCHESTER
We will explore trauma-informed leadership and care in the workplace offering insightful perspectives on how this empathetic approach can transform the workplace, creating a culture where employees feel safe, supported, and valued.
Trauma-informed leadership recognizes that 70% of people have experienced a trauma in their life and employees may bring unseen experiences and challenges into their work life, which can impact their wellbeing and performance. By fostering a culture of empathy and understanding, leaders can create a more resilient and engaged workforce.
3 Key Benefits of Trauma-Informed Leadership:
Enhanced Psychological Safety
Trauma-informed leadership prioritizes psychological safety by encouraging open communication, trust, and non-judgment. Employees feel secure voicing their ideas and concerns, knowing they won’t be unfairly judged or penalized. This sense of safety fosters stronger team cohesion and supports innovation.Improved Mental Health and Wellbeing
By acknowledging the impact of trauma and providing the necessary support, trauma-informed leaders help reduce stress and anxiety in the workplace. This approach allows employees to manage challenges more effectively, contributing to overall mental health and reducing burnout.Boosted Performance and Engagement
When employees feel safe, valued, and supported, they’re more engaged and motivated to contribute to the organization. Trauma-informed practices encourage a work environment where employees can thrive, leading to higher productivity, improved focus, and greater organizational success. Adopting trauma-informed leadership and organizations is an investment in the health, resilience and productivity of both employees and the organization.Register here also : https://www.pro-manchester.co.uk/event/power-of-perspective-pioneering-trauma-informed-leadership-and-workplaces/
