About us
Restore Forest Therapy organizes forest bathing walks for connection and healing, led by ANFT certified forest therapy guide Eleni Sallinger.
Forest therapy, also known as forest bathing, is a practice of slowing down and connecting with the natural world intentionally through the senses. This simple act of immersing oneself in nature without distraction is emerging as an effective way to improve human health and well-being. But the benefits go beyond improvements in physical health: guided forest therapy walks can foster an increased sense of belonging by strengthening our relationship with ourselves, with our community, and especially with the land we live on.

Sign up at restoreforesttherapy.com- Investment: Your first walk is free, then each walk is sliding scale $15-25.
- Accessibility: We will sit or stand in the grass and walk very slowly on flat ground. The pace and distance you walk will be entirely up to you.
- Audience: This walk is geared toward adults. No pets or small children - though I hope to one day offer walks that can include these members of the family too!
- Inclement weather policy: Walks will generally happen rain or shine, unless weather conditions are dangerous (thunder/torrential rains). This gives us the opportunity to be present with the land in all its forms! Participants will be notified via email if the walk needs to be cancelled due to inclement weather and any payment collected will be applied to a future walk of their choosing.
