SATURDAY: Buffalo, Bison, Camel, Alpacas! Two Farms in South Langley

Five people are registered on a related Meetup group, we won’t be lonely.

If you don’t have a car then somebody with a car will need to register so that you can carpool.

Five of us from this and the other group have arranged to carpool and unfortunately the vehicle is full.

If you’re driving, please meet at 11am at the entrance to the gourmet store on the farm, you can’t miss it.

This is a fascinating and fun place. We will take a tour of the farm on a tractor-drawn hay wagon, visiting various fields, pens and feedlots. Water buffalo and bison are raised here.

The tour is $15 for seniors and includes a tasty buffalo burger and drink.

After Academy Farm we travel a short distance to Kensington Prairie Farm at 1736 248th Street, Aldergrove. For $7.50 admission you can walk around and see llamas, alpacas, emu, ostriches, donkeys, pigs and ducks :)
