—————

A pleasant stroll that follows quiet suburban streets for a short way before entering the Brunette-Fraser Regional Greenway.

In the Brunette conservation area the path is alongside one of the few remaining open creeks in Burnaby and Metro Vancouver, Still Creek, and here it is thickly wooded and cool.

We pass into Hume Park and then onto our destination at Braid Station. For those needing more walking we can go to New Westminster Skytrain station and walk to New Westminster Quay and go along the flower-bedecked boardwalk.
