Please read this, to help with your expectations for the 15 minute Free practice group.
Ly-Lan Lofgren, LCSW, will lead us through EMDR and EFT tapping practices to help us return to our most resourced self. From this grounded state, we connect more readily with with our goals and other people. This is a welcoming, positive, supportive group; we do not focus on trauma or disturbing material.
This group begins with practice, instead of introductions or explanations, for curious newcomers and returning "tappers." We are co-regulating as we build our healthy habit routines. Practice time is only 15 minutes. After the practice, we can stay to make introductions, socialize, and problem-solve.

11:00am promptly: Ly-Lan Lofgren, LCSW, will guide you through a few rounds of POSITIVE Focus using an EMDR tool of tapping.
And then we'll practice EFT Tapping.
We will use these tools with only positive thoughts and experiences. We do not use these tools in this brief group setting to address any upsetting material.
Healing from trauma is a valuable journey, and not directly addressed in this 15 minute group. This group is just one tool which focuses on rewiring our brains and nervous systems for safety, security and self-nurturing.

In this brief practice, we are only using one small tool from each of these dynamic therapy modalities.

*Is this just an info-mercial for a paid course?
Nope. We are real, live, people who practice EMDR and EFT Tools to help ourselves, and we open this practice up to anyone interested. We begin practicing promplty at 11:00. An important part of the community is to not promote or sell - this helps us focus on just practicing tools that are helpful, coregulating with each other and being present and authentic. Many tools, interventions, and groups are helpful, this one focuses on EMDR and EFT practices.
