The rulers of the sky are descending on the Audubon Nature Center and Aquarium in September. Birds of prey with long sharp talons, hooked beaks, and highly developed eyesight and hearing to Bristol. They’re raptors, the superior hunters of the avian world.

Owls, hawks, and falcons will be featured in live flight presentations, educational programs, and activities for bird enthusiasts of all ages. Audubon Raptor Weekend presents a unique opportunity for visitors to get up-close with many species and learn about their adaptations and habitats in this engaging, family-friendly weekend event.

New for 2023! Master Falconer Gregory Wojtera has worked with over 55 raptors during the past 14 years and has worked as a full-time falconer and educator since 2016. Wojtera trains and flies hawks, falcons and owls and founded Master of the Skies in 2014 to educate the public on falconry and raptors.
