Revolutionary War-era carriage roads and historic rock cairns take hikers back in time. Trails are hilly, interspersed with several calm, flowing streams. The 860 acre property includes some areas of rocky landscape that are perfect for strenuous exercise as well as wildlife observation.
This can be a strenuous exercise hike. Please be prepared for the hike with good hiking boots, extra water for hydration and bug spray- 40% DEET would be good.
Poles are optional; bring them if you want them.
The terrain is hilly and rugged in places and the pace will be steady and a little quicker than what you might be used to. There will be stops along the way as necessary.
