FRIDAY SING! Song Circle - Sing in harmony, rounds and layers :)

Did you grow up singing in church or a school choir and miss the camaraderie and magic of music-making? Do you sing in the shower or car alone but long for others to sing with?

In our community song circle, we start by playfully warming up our voices and bodies , we then move into learning “circle songs”- simple rounds, call and echo, chants, etc. in the oral tradition (no music reading necessary). Our songs uplift the human spirit, express joy and gratitude, celebrate and honor nature, and help us to remember our solidarity with our fellow humans. Join us in a super supportive and safe environment as we grow our song circle community. This is a non-performing group, meant to be accessible to all.

I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to step into a new group, but I assure you, you will be warmly and enthusiastically welcomed to reconnect with the music inside of you that is longing to be expressed. We are here, we are singing together and we want you to join us! All are welcome!
