Welcome to the Rhythm Collective Community Drum Circle. This is a relaxed, inclusive space for anyone interested in exploring rhythm, regardless of your musical background or experience level. Our goal is simply to get together, listen to one another, and enjoy the communal energy that happens when we play music as a group. Whether you have been drumming for years or have never touched an instrument before, there is a place for you in the circle.
We focus on spontaneous, collaborative improvisation rather than structured lessons. We usually spend the first few minutes settling in, finding a beat, and letting the groove grow naturally as we layer our sounds together. Please feel free to bring your own djembe, hand drum, or percussion instrument if you have one, though we always try to have a few extra pieces of gear on hand for those who are just starting out. We look forward to creating some music with you soon.
