Good morning friends! This Earth Day we are partnering with NeighborWorks Blackstone River Valley to beautify a Woonsocket neighborhood. Thanks to NeighborWorks BRV for the free pizza lunch and the details are below!

Constitution Hill Clean UP

10am – 3pm

Meet at the Olo Street Orchard (intersection of Olo Street and Center Street, Woonsocket, RI)

Street Parking Available

Volunteers should wear closed toed shoes and clothing they feel comfortable picking up trash and doing basic landscaping in.

Volunteers will join Woonsocket’s city-wide Earth Day cleanup in the historic neighborhood of Constitution Hill. They’ll pick up trash, rake leaves, trim bushes and prepare the community for Spring. They’ll be joining a team of volunteers from the State-Wide Accessing Home AmeriCorps program and staff from the community development corporation NeighborWorks Blackstone River Valley to get the job done. Pizza lunch will provided!

Then come on by! Led by Tim Killilea, an improv teacher and improviser of 8 years, this free event is welcome to all!

• Learn how to play fun games to inspire to be polite and courteous. As a group, we will refrain from any toilet humor because of the nature of the space.

Since improv is a creative space, there is room for a lot of good choices, and potential for some accidental and/or unwanted ones, so here are some expectations that all participants should be aware:
Be Respectful, No Verbal or Physical Harassment
Avoid Unwanted Physical Touch
No Blue Humor/Discriminatory Behavior
No Sexual, Physical, or Verbal Harassment

Before the workshop, we will conduct a check-in with people, and a boundaries check-in. This discussion will give the group a chance to better understand what the group expectations are. I appreciate your patience, kindness, and consideration in this aspect of the workshop!
