Truman Drive and Woonsocket Public Library Litter Cleanup!

Short story: The Improv Workshop and Trash Cleanup are postponed.

Long Story: I have to apologize. I work as a first responder, and due to circumstances beyond my control, I have to work til 6 PM on Saturday, March 28th. Usually a shift ends at 8 AM. This means that both the improv workshop at the Woonsocket Library and the trash cleanup on Truman Drive and the Library have to be postponed. I will be working diligently on Monday to reschedule these events once I can get into contact with the DPW and Library.

There have been weeks of planning put into this, and I hate to disappoint people who have put time and effort into attending. I appreciate your patience and understanding. I look forward to being able to see all those who want to come to the next event, and hearing the rest.

We are going to have our first of three monthly Woonsocket litter cleanups on March 28th. This is following our free Improv Workshop at the library in the morning.

We will be cleaning the library grounds and Truman Drive. The library is a vital resource to sustaining community needs, and Truman Drive is a combination open space, bike path, and car pathway. Both could use some early Spring TLC!

Please dress accordingly to the weather. This includes jacket, pants, gloves, thick soles shoes, and high visibility clothing.

Pickup tools, trash bags, and 5 gallon buckets will be available. Some extra tools will also be available for the more adventurous.

We will go over a safety briefing at the beginning. Please be aware, at even this time, hazards like poison ivy, sharp materials, and stinging insects may be present.
