Details

Bordeaux is the world’s benchmark wine region, celebrated for an extraordinary range of styles shaped by diverse soils, microclimates, and centuries of winemaking tradition. With thousands of châteaux and dozens of appellations, Bordeaux produces everything from elegant, age-worthy reds and vibrant dry whites to the legendary sweet wines of Sauternes—each bottle offering its own personality and sense of place. This diversity is exactly what makes Bordeaux so captivating… and so perfect for a blind tasting, where every glass is a new discovery.

Please bring:

  1. A bottle of Bordeaux wine in the $20-$30 range ( Although these wines might say "Bordeaux" on the label, they might also have the AOC or Chateau name instead. See the list below. If in doubt, ask your wine merchant. They should have plenty to choose from.)
  2. A plain, brown paper wine bag (the kind they give you at the shop when you buy your wine. If you have a few extras, please bring them too.)
  3. 4 wine glasses
  4. Optional: a snack to share

There are only 12 spots available for this event, so sign up right away! If your plans change please be sure to change your RSVP so that someone on the wait list can attend.

Considerations:

  • I have a small, friendly, non-shedding dog
  • On street parking is free in our neighborhood

We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our home in the Museum District! I will send the exact address to all attendees a day or two before the event.

Cheers,
Jill and Michael
