Join us for an evening exploring the rich and varied wines of Portugal at our next blind tasting. As longtime lovers of Portugal—its landscapes, food, and warm hospitality—we’re excited to deepen our understanding of the country’s remarkable wine traditions. From the bright, slightly “green” freshness of Vinho Verde to the powerful, port-inspired table wines of the Douro; from the mountain-protected elegance of Dão to the clay-soiled reds and sparkling wines of Bairrada and the sun-drenched vineyards of Alentejo—where some producers still ferment in ancient Roman-style clay pots—Portugal offers an extraordinary range of styles. Come taste, compare, and discover the many expressions of this captivating wine country with us.
Please bring:
- A bottle of Portuguese wine in the 15-25 range
- A plain, brown paper wine bag (the kind they give you at the shop when you buy your wine. If you have a few extras, please bring them too.)
- 4 wine glasses
- Optional: a snack to share
Considerations:
*Parking is free in front of the house, when available. You can also park at Ihop and Plaza Azteca restaurants.
