"A small but growing Texas town, filled with strange and musical characters, celebrates its sesquicentennial and converge on a local parade and talent show."

"I'm so impressed by what David Byrne did here. Such a rare and difficult thing to make a compassionate satire, to laugh at the weirdness of something in a way that isn't snide or dismissive, but purely observational. It's like Ordinary People Memes: The Movie. Despite tackling the topics, it's not a takedown of suburbanites or middle class excess or the encroaching digital age, it's a loving, wide-eyed, and curious gentle ribbing. It's David Byrne going to the zoo and giggling as the monkeys pick bugs out each other's hair. I always have a big laugh at him excitedly saying "I can talk that fast!" like a child. So funny to me that Radiohead took their name from this, given that the film's attitude is absolutely antithetical to all of OK Computer." –Demi Adejuyigbe
